Walter T.'s Story
Walter T. Kalil, Jr., 72, of Newburyport, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
He was born in Methuen and was the son of the late Walter T., Sr. and Inez (Goings) Kalil.
Walter was graduated of Lawrence High School and Bentley College with a degree in business. He owned and operated Kalil Lobster in Newburyport and Sorrento Lobster in Maine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. His friends and family knew him to be a strong, quiet man with a great big heart.
Walter is survived by his daughters, Alexandra Kalil of New York and Ariel Kalil of Newburyport; brothers, Gerald Kalil and his wife, Patricia, Sam Kalil and his wife, Mary Ellen, all of Methuen; and sister, Debbie Kalil of Hampton, NH. He also leaves his significant other, Jean DiSabito of Newburyport.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Myra (Pruitt) Kalil; sisters, Barbara Gueli and Sharon Kelley and his nephew, Gerald Kalil, Jr.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.
