Virginia's Story

Virginia M. Flynn, 88, of Newburyport and a former longtime resident of Seabrook, N.H., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
She was born in Lowell, on November 18, 1928, the daughter of the late Leo J. and Catherine (Quinn) Leblanc.
Virginia was raised in Lowell, and attended the local schools. She served as an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary and as an active member of the League of Catholic Women in Lowell. After moving to Seabrook in 1986, she was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church at Seabrook Beach. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her wonderful sense of humor made everyone around her smile.
She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Flynn who died in 2000.

She leaves her sons, James Flynn of Nashua, N.H. and Joseph Flynn of Concord, N.H., her four grandchildren: Michael Cloutier and Matthew, Gerard, and Jamie Lee Flynn and her great-grandchildren, Madison, Ariel and Annabelle.
Family and friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd. Hampton, N.H. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. following the visitation at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 1 Lowell St., Seabrook Beach, N.H.
