Ruth E.'s Story
Ruth E. (Munson) Chanonhouse, 95, of Seabrook, N.H., passed away on Wednesday morning, November 29, at the Oceanside Center in Hampton, N.H., with her granddaughter by her side. Ruth was born in Everett, Mass., to the late Elliott and Lena ( Cunningham) Munson. She graduated with her class from the Everett High School. Ruth went on to work for many years at G.E. as a Riveter during the war. During her spare time, Ruth loved Arts and Crafts, especially, knitting and counter cross stitching.
Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Alfred R. Chanonhouse and is survived by her grandchildren, Dawn R. Chanonhouse and Shane Haskell; as well as her great-grandchildren, Jessip Charlebois, Kayla Haskell and Nathan Haskell. Ruth was predeceased by her children, Thomas A. Chanonhouse and Donna Chanonhouse; and her sister, Dorothy Rahdin.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her Graveside Service on Friday, December 8, at 10:30 a.m. in the South Byfield Cemetery, Georgetown. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
