Raymond P.'s Story
Raymond P. Greeley, II, age 49, resident of Penacook, N.H., for the past 20 years, died unexpectedly at his home early Wednesday morning. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Greeley.
Born in Quonset, R.I., October 2, 1967, he was the son of Raymond P. Greeley of Amesbury and the late Carmen T. (Sasner) Greeley, who died May 1, 2000. He grew up in Amesbury and was a graduate of Amesbury High School, Class of 1985.
For many years Raymond was a delivery driver for Coca Cola Company, until he became blind as a result of his battle with diabetes. In spite of his blindness, he never gave up his zest for life. He remained an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, was an exceptional cook, and was totally devoted to his two sons and his wife. The joy they brought into his life was immeasurable.
In addition to his wife, Kathleen, and his father, Raymond, he leaves behind two sons, Anthony and Caiden; his cousin, Cherlye Snow; his aunt, Barbara Snow; along with extended family members and many dear friends. The memories he has shared with them over the years will always bring a smile to their face and they will never forget the flavorful meals he could whip up in an instant with the biggest smile and greatest sense of accomplishment. He will truly live forever in the hearts of those he loved.
