Patricia A. (Martin) Janvrin, 79, longtime resident of Salisbury, died Friday, January 5, with her loving family at her side at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Born in Gloucester on March 28, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Sommers) Martin and was a graduate of Newburyport High School Class of 1956, where she was a cheerleader.
Patricia enjoyed her years as a Cub Scout den mother and committee member at the Whittier Regional Vocational Technical School for 13 years, as well as the Open Space Committee.
She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and extremely dedicated grandmother and could not have been any happier than caring for her family. The joy they gave her fueled her life and made her proud, knowing that she would always be important in their lives.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Harold "Brud" Janvrin Jr. of Salisbury; her sons, Jason Janvrin and wife Maureen of Windham, ME and Joshua Janvrin and wife Olivia of Methuen; her grandsons, Conor and Colin Janvrin; her granddaughter, Jordan Janvrin; her brother, John Martin of Seabrook, NH, along with extended family members and many friends.
By her request, all services will be private. Arrangements are by Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green St., Newburyport.
