Margo H. (Earabino)'s Story
Margo H. (Earabino) Banta, 75, of Newburyport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the Country Center for Health and Rehab. in Newburyport.
The daughter of the late Anthony and Olive (Super) Earabino,
Margo was born in Newburyport on February 7, 1942. She was a graduate of Newburyport High School. For most of her life, she was a homemaker, raising her family. Later, she was employed as a pharmacy technician for the Wegman Stores in upstate New York, later returning to Newburyport. Margo enjoyed going to the beach, playing bingo and going to Foxwoods.
Margo is survived by two sons, Stace Banta and his wife, Amanda of Whitman, and Christopher Banta and his partner, Anna Clisdell of Sydney, Australia; two grandsons, Matthew Banta and Nathan Banta, both of Whitman; three sisters, Maureen Webb of Newburyport, Patricia Randall of Amesbury and Sally Dube of Salem, N.H.; two brothers, Shawn Earabino of Beverly, and Robert Earabino of Amesbury; a special sister-in-law, Nancy Earabino of Seabrook, N.H., and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
Margo was predeceased by her siblings, Patrick Earabino, Richard Earabino and Bryan Earabino.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the E.V. Jutras and Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., Amesbury, MA 01913.
