Lorraine Rita (Brindamour)'s Story
Lorraine R. (Brindamour) Comeau, age 92, lifelong Groveland resident, passed peacefully Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017 at Maplewood Manor in Amesbury.
Born in Groveland on January 18, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Theodore E. and Anne (Goyette) Brindamour and was a graduate of the former Groveland High School, Class of 1943.
A longtime parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Groveland, Lorraine was a woman of great faith and determination. Dedicated to her family, her joy came from seeing her children grow up to become wonderful adults and the added happiness of becoming a grandmother and great-grandmother.
Lorraine was predeceased by her only other sibling Theodore Brindamour in 2002.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald L. Comeau and wife Jennifer Costain of West Newbury, Michael Comeau and wife Karen of Alfred, Maine, and Robert Comeau and wife Marcie of Peachtree City, Ga.; her grandchildren Renee Comeau, Bryan Comeau and wife, Lauren, Jeremiah Fitzpatrick and wife, Danielle, Michelle Turner and husband Bryce, Benjamin Comeau, Tiffany Comeau, Chadd Comeau and wife, Nicole, Trevor Comeau, Matthew and Robert Eckel and great-grandchildren Sophia, Joey, Charles, Braxton, Barrett, and Eli all of whom held a very special place in her heart, along with extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service for relatives and friends will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery, Main Street, Groveland. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
