MURFREESBORO, TN- Lois Francis Jensen was born on April 12, 1931 in Haledon, New Jersey to Rosa and Hampton Eubank and passed peacefully on the morning of January 15th.
Lois is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel E. Jensen Jr. She leaves two children, Steven E. Jensen of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Gail E. Farley and her husband Bob of Newburyport; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Throughout her time in Saddle River, NJ, Salisbury, Mass., Hampton, N.H. and Murfreesboro, Tenn, Lois lived a fulfilled life. She loved to travel, be on the water, and spend time with family and friends. Her enthusiasm to make the most of every day was contagious to all around her.
Lois' family paid this tribute to her - she was one of the most resilient, cheerful, and kind women you would ever meet. She played an active part in the lives of her children and grandchildren, teaching them to meet challenges with positive engagement. The wisdom and strength with which she led her life and her loyalty and dedication to her husband of 67 years is inspirational to all who know them.
A memorial service will be held at the Experience Community Church in Murfreesboro on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. followed by celebration of life at the home of Steven Jensen. Condolences can be sent to Sam Jensen and his family at 3310 Saint Andrews Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
