Laurentienne "Laurie" Vigneault

Laurentienne Laurie Vigneault Amesbury, MA - Laurie (Martin) Vigneault Laurentienne, 94 1/2 to the day, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 9, 2019. Born in St. Paul-de-la-Croix, Quebec, Canada, to Marie (Pelletier) and Paul Martin on Sept. 9, 1924.
She came to America in 1953 where she found her love and married him in 1955. Settling in Amesbury until his untimely death in 1969, she remained in Amesbury with her son Raymond and attended the Amesbury Senior Center for many years. Shortly after the death of her son in 2010, she moved over to the Nevins Nursing Home where she was loved by all the staff there until her end.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Solange Martin of Manchester, N.H.; nieces and nephews; John and Carol Martin of Elizabethton, Tenn., Dennis Martin of North Andover, Mass., Roger and Sybilla Martin of Weinstrabe, Germany, Charles Jr. and Donna Martin of Methuen, Mass., Michelle and John SIrois of Herman, Maine Marcelle and Guy Gagnon of Lawrence, Mass., Lauren and Claude Pinet of Lawrence, Mass., Vic and Fernande Pelletier of Sherbrooke, Canada, Simone Pelletier of Sherbrooke, Canada, Louiselle Moreau of Sherbrooke John (Ti-Louis) Pelletier of Sandown, New Hampshire, Nicole Pelletier of St. Rose, Canada, Guy Labree of Lawrence, Mass., Marie-Paule (deceased) JohnPaul (deceased), Huguette Pelletier of Sherbrooke, Canada; as well as many other nieces and nephews; and great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews in both Canada and the USA.
The family would like to thank the staff at Nevins Nursing Home for their great care and love they gave to Laurie while she was a resident there.
In lieu of flowers the family would request that you make a donation to the Nevins in memory of Laurie. Nevins Nursing Home, 10 Ingalls Court, Methuen, MA 01844.
Calling hours at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., in Amesbury, are this Sat., March 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will take place in May.
