Joyce Elaine Bell

May 20, 1940 - February 25, 2019

Joyce Elaine Bell Salisbury - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Mrs. Joyce Elaine Bell, 78, of Salisbury, Mass.
Born and raised in Newburyport, Joyce attended the Kelly School and Newburyport High School, graduating in 1958. She attended Salem State College and received her elementary teaching degree in 1962. In June of 1962, she married her high school sweetheart, Francis D. Bell. Joyce will surely be remembered by many as their first grade teacher at the Brown School in Newburyport where she taught for over 30 years.
During retirement, Joyce and Frank spent time with friends and family at their Florida home as well as in Newburyport. She always enjoyed participating in dance class, gardening, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.

Joyce is predeceased by her parents Henry and Mary Brown of Newburyport; and her brother Henry "Bunk" Brown of Salisbury. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 56 years, Dr. Francis D. Bell of Salisbury, Mass.; her son Mr. Erick D. Bell and wife Katy of Haverhill, Mass.; her daughter Dr. Kristen E. Lazzaro and husband Tom and her cherished grandson, Nicholas of Fremont, N.H.
Our hearts will always be filled with Joy!
