Newbury, MA - Harry R. Fish Jr., age 82, longtime resident of Newbury, passed peacefully in the loving presence of his family in the tranquil surroundings of the High Pointe House in Haverhill on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He was the devoted husband of 60 years to Patricia E. (Packer) Fish.
One of six children of the late Harry R. and Hazel E. (Gormarsh) Fish, he was born in Newburyport on June 18, 1936, and was a graduate of Newburyport High School, class of 1954. He retired in 1991 after 35 years of combined military and government service. Harry was a hardworking man, who cared deeply about his family, always doing his best for them throughout his life. It was the love of family that was his life's inspiration.
