Geoffrey Paul's Story
Geoffrey Paul Stevens, 45, lifelong resident of Newburyport, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 10, 2016, as a result of a tragic automobile accident. Born March 17, 1971, in Beverly, Massachusetts to Lee M. and Patricia A. Stevens, Geoffrey was a 1989 graduate of Newburyport High School and later studied business at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
He was a well-known and much loved member of the community who worked for many years in the service industry. Geoffrey was an avid fisherman, a knowledgeable local historian specializing in colonial artifacts, and a contributor to various numismatic journals.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Lisa M. Christian and her husband, Robert of Nottingham, N.H., Christopher J. Stevens of Newburyport, Mass., Jason M. Stevens of Peabody, Mass.; as well as seven nieces and nephews and many close friends. We miss you, we love you and we will never forget you.
By request of the family, funeral arrangements will be private.
