SEABROOK, NH- Garfield L. "Gary" Tuttle, 64, of Seabrook, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Exeter on June 3, 1953 a son of Rebecca (Flanders) Titcomb of Kensington and the late Harlan Titcomb, as well as his father, the late Earl Tuttle.
Raised in Hampton Falls, he graduated from Winnacunnet High School with the Class of 1973.
Following graduation Gary worked in the construction field for a few years before starting work at Phillips Exeter Academy as the Facilities Manager, only recently taking a leave of absence after 30 years due to illness. He truly enjoyed his job and the many friends he made while working.
Gary was a jack-of-all-trades and avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed restoring antique cars, hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. Family was a huge part of Gary's life and his greatest joy was spending time with them.
He met his future wife, Diana K. (Davis) Tuttle of Seabrook at the age of 15 and from then on they were inseparable, marrying in September 1973 and sharing 47 years of marriage.
In addition to his mother and wife, surviving family members include his siblings, Brenda Roy and her husband Bob of Seabrook, Virginia Riley and her husband Rick of Hampton Falls, Ivy Burditt and her husband David of Hampton Falls, Gladys "Dutch" Felch and her husband, Chet of Kensington, Kathy Campbell and her husband, Bryan of Exeter, Harlan Titcomb Jr. of Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his fathers, he was predeceased by his son James Tuttle in 2015 and his sister, Claudia Abrams.
Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday March 11, 2018 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday March 12, 2018 in the funeral home followed by burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
