HAMPTON, NH - Emily W. "Teddy" Goodwin, 73, of Hampton, died Monday, February 5, 2018, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass.
Born in Newburyport, Mass., February 6, 1944, to the late Edward and Anne (Kouza) Goodwin.
Emily was raised in Seabrook and graduated from Winnacunnet High School with the Class of 1962 and later attended the former ITT Technical School in Portsmouth. She was a veteran serving with the US Navy for six years.
She was employed at GTE Sylvania in Exeter for many years, Exeter Instruments in Hampton and was later a partner in a machine shop in Dover.
She resided in Kensington and Portsmouth before moving to Gulfport, Fla., and then to the Keys in Florida before most recently returning to Hampton. She enjoyed sailing and photography.
Emily leaves her husband, Albert Emmons of Hampton; her daughter, Dawn Speaks and her husband, Curt of Lodi, Calif.; her sister, Trudy Atkinson and her husband, Ray of Hampton; her granddaughter, Chelsey Miller of Lodi, Calif.; two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home Crematory, Hampton.
