SEABROOK, NH - Donal C. Bergeron, Sr., 77, of Seabrook, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Exeter Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Newburyport, May 22, 1940 one of ten children to the late Leo and Vianna (Merrill) Bergeron.
Don was raised in Salisbury, attended Salisbury schools and Newburyport High School. He was employed as a supervisor at the Hysol Division of the Dexter Corporation in Seabrook and prior to this he worked as a carpenter, truck driver and also did factory work.
Don enjoyed his grandchildren, woodworking and his favorite old TV program was Gunsmoke.
He shared 58 years of marriage with his wife, Mary A. (Creighton) Bergeron.
In addition to his wife, family members include four sons, Donal C. Bergeron, Jr. and his wife Heather of Farmington, Clifford and Harry Bergeron, Dean Bergeron and his wife Karen all of Seabrook, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and close friends, Gary and June Fowler.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his five brothers and four sisters.
A visiting hour will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in the Rand Memorial Church. Services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook.
