Dale A.'s Story
Dale Knowles, 62, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017, with her family by her side.
Born on February 3, 1955, in the city of Lynn, Dale was the daughter of her loving parents, the late Daniel and Dolores (Dickerman) Perruzzi. Upon graduating St. Mary's High School in Lynn, Dale went on to receive her Bachelor and Master's of Special Education degrees at Salem State College.
Dale loved her family and did home day care to be with her children. She also had a very successful career as a teacher at the Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Everett and concluded her career as special education teacher with the Haverhill School System. Dale was also a very dedicated and caring Special Olympics Coach for the greater Salisbury area.
Dale was married for 33 years to her loving husband, Fred. She is survived by her favorite daughter, Kristine and favorite son, Cal Knowles; her uncle, Dick and aunt, Debbie Perruzzi and uncle, Ken and aunt, Shirley; many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be Thursday, September 28, at 5 p.m. in the Sea Glass Restaurant, 2nd floor, Salisbury Beach. Relatives, friends and those who loved Dale are respectfully invited.
