Constance A.'s Story
Constance A. (Morrison) Surpitski, 68, wife of John E. Surpitski, died Saturday morning, December 24, 2016, in the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington after a long illness. Born in Berkeley, Calif., on January 24, 1948, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Alice (Cooper) Morrison.
Constance and her husband, John were married at Berkeley University in Berkeley, Calif., on February 14, 1975. She was a registered nurse and was employed at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. She was also a nurse for the Essex County Correctional System. Later, she was employed as an occupational nurse at Raytheon.
In addition to her husband, John of Ipswich, Constance is survived by their son, Richard Surpitski of Kingston, N.H.; three grandchildren, Micheala, Natasia and Jaden; and one great-granddaughter, Aubrey.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, December 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Morris Funeral Home, 45 North Main Street, Ipswich. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
