Cheryl Resler, 68, passed away Friday morning at Avita of Newburyport.
Predeceased by her brother, Robert, and her parents, Hubert C. and Elfrieda Michalak-Resler, she is survived by her niece, Lauren; and nephews, Ian and Mathew Resler; as well as her great-grandniece and nephew, Parker and Jaxon Stupak.
Born in Detroit, Mich., Cheryl graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors degree in Textiles. She was ranked #1 in the country in sales at Kravet Couture for many years.
Cheryl was an active chaplain and choir member at Unity on the River in Amesbury. She was ordained an interfaith chaplain at CHIME Chaplaincy Institute of Maine in 2006.
Cheryl was a lover of people, parties and animals. Her beloved cat, Blossom, brought smiles to her daily.
Cheryl's kind and generous heart will be remembered by her loved ones. Her friends meant as much to her as any family member. She had an infectious laugh and a sparkle in her eyes that will not soon be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at Unity on the River in Amesbury, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cheryl's memory to Avita of Newburyport.
