Anthony R. Tomaino Seabrook, NH - Anthony R. Tomaino, 90, of Seabrook, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 3, 2019.

He was born in Somerville, Mass., on June 2, 1928, a son of the late Antonio and Muriel (Mason) Tomaino.

Raised in Cambridge, Mass., he graduated from Rindge Technical School and went on to serve four years in the United States Coast Guard aboard the USCGC McCulloch.

Anthony worked his entire career as an elevator technician for Payne Elevator, Traction Elevator, and others. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and Raymond E. Walton American Legion Post 70 in Seabrook, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his family, especially his grand- and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Joan M. (Kennie) Tomaino of Seabrook; children, Diane Tomaino-Arsenault of Windham, Linda Sarette and her husband Douglass of Sanbornton, Robin Tomaino of Seabrook, and Lisa Gaudet of Seabrook; sister Rosemarie Smith of Seabrook; and eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the New England Christian Church, 249 Lafayette Road, Salisbury, MA 01952. Burial with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517, or Help Heal Vets, P.O. Box 98088, Washington DC 20090.
