Anna's Story

Anna Esther (Stroman) FitzGerald born November 19, 1919, passed away peacefully at Country Manor. She lived in Malden for most of her life raising her four sons. The wife of a naval commander, she was active in many military and social charitable organizations.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond and his wife, Michele of Billerica, David and his wife, Rita of Salisbury, James and his wife, Mary Ann of Salisbury, and John and his wife, Eliane of San Diego; her grandchildren, Deanna, Eric, Teresa, Andrew; and great-grandchild, Anna. She was predeceased by her husband, David Raymond, and her grandson, Jimmy. She is also survived by her brother, George Stroman, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Country Manor and Constellation Hospice and Homecare for making Anna feel safe and comfortable in her final years. They request, in lieu of flowers, that donation be made to Constellation Hospice, 180 Low St., Newburyport, MA 02150.
Visiting Thursday, at 10 a.m., at the E. E. Burns & Son Funeral Home, 204 Main St., Malden, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
