Amesbury, MA - Anita Fournier passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
She was born in Amesbury on March 6, 1938, the daughter of the late Laurent & Georgianna (Nicol) Fournier.
She was a machine operator for Amesbury Metal Products, Henschel's and Eastern Manufacturing and a bench worker for Wil-Mor Manufacturing.
She was a member of the World Candlepin Bowlers' Congress Pro Tour winning in Amesbury, MA, Concord, NH and Biddeford, ME. She also appeared on Channel 5's Candlepin Bowling Stars with Don Gillis, as well as several appearances on their mixed doubles format.
She is survived by her sister, Yvette Bartlett, brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Rose (Mansourian) Fournier, brother-in-law, Edward Gorski, forty-three nieces and nephews, as well as many grandnieces and nephews and great grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Yvonne (Thivierge) Fournier, Alfred & Lorraine (Lariviere) Fournier, Leo Paul and Arlene (Barriault) Fournier and Romeo & Jean (Drew) Fournier, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Gilberte and Paul
Carbonneau, Lea Fournier, Lucina Gorski, Doris and Richard Tatarczuk, Lorraine and Robert Ouellette, Norman Bartlett and Theresa Fournier, her nephew Larry Fournier and her grandnephew Derek Hines.
Anita (Aunt Tibi) will be remembered as being full of love and laughter. She would never fail to make you laugh whenever you saw her. She knew the names and birthdates of all fortyfour nieces and nephews and, when talking with them, would always ask about their children (her grandnieces and nephews), by name. She was amazing. She will be sorely missed
Her funeral mass will be celebrated this Wednesday June 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Family Parish Church 2 School St. in Amesbury with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Burial will be at a later time. Arrangements are by the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home in Amesbury.

My Condolences Anita was such a special woman I loved working with her at Wil-Mor she was always cracking jokes and always making us laugh. Enjoyed our lunches with her and the other bench ladies. R.I.P Anita you will be missed
