Ana Carlota (nee Sandoval Luna)'s Story
Ana Carlota (nee Sandoval Luna) Colom, 85, of Salisbury MA, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2017 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Santa Ana, El Salvador on July 10, 1932, Ana Carlota was the daughter of the late Arturo Enrique and Carlota Sandoval Luna. She was born and raised in Santa Ana, El Salvador. She attended Immaculata College, Immaculata, Pa. and the Philadelphia College of Art, Philadelphia. Upon her marriage, she moved to Guatemala City, Guatemala, where she lived for many years.
Carlota was an accomplished artist known for her creativity through many art forms. More importantly, she was a successful business woman known for her entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking. Her sense of humor, creativity and love of life, gave her the power to assist so many family and friends throughout her lifetime, enabling them to achieve unreachable goals and milestones.
Survived by her children, Guillermo (Kathy) of Salisbury, Francisco (Peter) of Boxford, Luis (Lisa) of Fremont N.H., granddaughter, Anna of Groveland. In addition, her dear friend, Ana Cristina Alvarez of Orlando, Fla. and numerous family members and friends from many continents. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Guillermo Colom Argueta.
