Adele's Story

Text size

Adele Donovan (Bradshaw) passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass., at the age of 48.
Adele was born on March 14, 1969, in Newburyport and was a graduate of Newburyport High School.
She spent her career in the field of Human Services, which she loved. She enjoyed helping everyone around her, and willingly provided for those who couldn’t provide for themselves. She will be remembered for choosing to put others before herself. Her other passions were throwing parties for the younger children, traveling, and shopping.
Adele is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert J. Donovan Sr. of Amesbury; son, Jesse Donovan of Amesbury; mother, Dorothy “Dot” (Larry) Russell of Haverhill, Mass.; brother, James Bradshaw (Danielle) of Newbury, Mass.; sister, Terri Teague (Jeffrey) of Amesbury; and she was predeceased by her daughter, Cassandra Donovan, and her step-father, Larry Russell. She was “Grammie” to both Shailyn and Adriana, who adored her. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
As you think my days are gone, I'll always be there watching along. To my special sister -- if I could catch a rainbow, I would do it just for you. Love, Terri.
Services are being handled by E V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., Amesbury, with burial to follow at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
